National Senior Health & Fitness Day, now in its 31st year, has traditionally been held on the last Wednesday in May. As the nation’s largest annual older adult health and wellness event, its goals are to help keep older Americans healthy and fit, and to showcase what local organizations are doing in their communities to promote senior health and wellness.
This year’s event website has many useful resources to help you organize virtual or actual events, based on your unique needs. We have made new updates to the website for this year, and you’ll find more ideas in upcoming FitnessDay News issues that you receive as part of your registration, so be sure to check that resource regularly as well.
