The HIRC
The
Health Information Resource Center (HIRC) is a national clearinghouse
for consumer health information programs and materials. In addition
to Family Health & Fitness Day USA, other programs include:
- National
health programs, including the National Health Information Awards,
World Wide Web Health Awards, professional reference books, and
an upcoming community Web site www.healthprograms.com
for professionals who use consumer health information resources.
- The
HIRC is also the home of the Consumer Health Publishers Network
(CHPN), a membership organization for publishers and distributors
of consumer health resources.
